EMERGENCY APPEAL

St. Elizabeth's lifeline has been lost - Together, we can rebuild it.

When Hurricane Melissa devastated St. Elizabeth, Black River Hospital - the parish’s only major healthcare facility - was destroyed. Families are now without care. Help us raise £100,000 to restore hope, health, and healing.

Help Restore Black River Hospital

When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, it didn’t just destroy homes — it shattered lives. In the parish of St. Elizabeth, Black River Hospital, the region’s main healthcare lifeline, was left in ruins.

Divi Charity About

When the storm hit, everything stopped.

Right now, mothers, children, and the elderly are without access to essential medical care. The people of St. Elizabeth are depending on us — and you — to help bring their hospital back to life.

The Black River Hospital Disaster Relief Fund

The Organisation of Caribbean Arts, Culture & Heritage (OCACH) - a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting Caribbean communities - has launched an urgent appeal to rebuild Black River Hospital.

Working alongside key partners including GEMZ Mas and Sexy Lovable Curves, we aim to raise £100,000 to restore medical services, rebuild critical infrastructure, and equip the hospital for long-term resilience.
