The Big Read
The Big Read supports community reading programs designed around a single Big Read book.
The goal of this programme is to honour the rich British-Caribbean artistic and cultural heritage, inspire meaningful conversations, celebrate local creativity, elevate a wide variety of voices and perspectives, and build stronger connections in our community.
The Carnival Arts Project
The Carnival Arts Project is a vibrant, participatory arts programme that introduces pupils to the creative traditions of Caribbean carnival — costume design, music, movement, and visual expression.
More than an arts activity, the programme celebrates joy, identity, teamwork, and cultural pride through hands-on creative learning.
Roots & Routes: Caribbean History in Britain
Roots & Routes is an educational programme that explores how Caribbean history is woven into Britain’s national story — migration, contribution, resilience, and identity.
Through storytelling and creative learning, pupils gain a deeper understanding of shared history and contemporary Britain.
Future Voices
Future Voices is a creative empowerment programme using spoken word, storytelling, music, and performance to help young people develop confidence, voice, and self-belief.
